This is really helpful in so many ways and I am so happy that I found it. Thank you for such a wonderful article. I was looking for air cell size in particular and even though this wasn't really what this article is about, would you say that the Day 18 air cell pictured is right on target for Day 18 incubation for a Call Duck egg? @BirdsBeesTrees

Yes these air cells are good. Sometimes I took the picture of the progress by facing the air cell away from me. If you mist and cool you can increase the size a bit, which seems more helpful to the duckling.

I've been cooling but I was totally mixed up with misting and humidity. I was thinking more humidity made for smaller air cells and vice versa Thank you so much Do you mist once a day until internal pip?

It's from day 10, until internal pip. I just started doing it but I think it really does help hatch rates. I have my humidity between 45-50% now too, with the misting and cooling. 60% at lockdown.
